Graduate Apprenticeships

Graduate Apprenticeships offer a unique opportunity to earn a degree while working in a real job - and the water sector is leading the way in offering these innovative programmes. Designed for school leavers, career changers, or existing employees looking to upskill, Graduate Apprenticeships combine academic study with hands-on experience in a paid role.

You’ll work four days a week and study one day a week, typically over four years, gaining a degree in subjects like Civil Engineering, Data Science, Environmental Management, or Business. And because you’re learning on the job, you’ll graduate with both a qualification and years of relevant experience.

The water sector offers Graduate Apprenticeships across a wide range of disciplines. You could be helping design new infrastructure, analysing environmental data, managing digital systems, or supporting customers and communities. Whatever your interest, there’s a pathway that fits.

These programmes are fully funded - so there’s no student debt - and they’re open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to retrain, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Graduate Apprenticeships are a great choice if you want to build a career with purpose, progress, and long-term potential. You’ll be part of a team, part of a movement, and part of Scotland’s future.
